MEET THE BAND

Nick crawled out of Lake Erie in the mid nineties and has been adapting to human society ever since. As the Drummer and Time Keeper of Grim Grin, Nick controls the momentum and energy output of the performance.
For Grim Grin, Nick takes inspiration from popular punk groups, and aspires to the play with the precision and intensity of Travis Barker and the like.
His prior musical projects include Teatime for Three (Erie PA); Shades of the Rising Sun (Indiana PA); Susan, be Anthony (Erie PA). Besides GG,
Nick is currently involved in forming several other musical projects including but not limited to Negative Creep (Nirvana Tribute band), Limbo Scones (Opera inspired Metal), and an amateur Big Band style Jazz group.
Nick's favorites : Eating burritos, playing smash bros, classic dad rock , blues & modern mathematical progg metal. However, he dislikes dying from his allergies

Tim grew up in Meadville/Waterford Pa.
He is the singer , song writer and guitar player for Grim Grin. Although he has been making and playing music for as long as he can remember Grim Grin is his first official band.
He writes out of his experiences of struggling with and overcoming alcoholism.
Musically his inspiration comes from Bad Religion, Pennywise, Social Distortion, Sick Of It All, and Madball.
When he's not working as a chef you can find him listening to music, songwriting, music engineering, and spending time with family and friends.
Tim's favorites : Watching Peaky Blinders, Game Of Thrones, Rick and Morty, South Park, and American Dad.

Jake grew up in the Erie/Wattsburg area.
He is the bass player for Grim Grin.
As for inspiration he draws from a wide range of anything that makes some noise. From doom metal to the classic millennial emo hits.Really anything he can throw a fuzz pedal at and hide behind his amp.
He was previously a part of Jurassic Skate Park & Ashes of a Generation (Erie,PA)
Putting this band together became a project of his, after him and Tim decided to get sober and go to rehab. With nothing better to do they wrote songs about it with their new friend nick.
Jake's Favorites: Potato Chips, doughnuts, his cats & buying musical gear he will never use.
